LibertyScan is an innovative solution for our warehouse logistics.
LibertyScan is an APP for Android and IOS that collects product codes from exposed barcodes. To read the LibertyScan barcodes it must be installed on a smatphone or tablet with Android or IOS that has the camera.
Once we have downloaded and configured LibertyScan, and when we read the codes on our products, if the app is connected to our local LibertyCommerce server, the product description is loaded in addition to the code. If instead we work far away and not connected on the same local network where there is the database, we will collect only the codes that, then through a special operation, we will download directly in an order, in an invoice or in a transport document or in the sale to the public.
LibertyScan revolutionizes the concept of data acquisition because it frees us from being forced to buy expensive hardware to do this.
All you need to do is have a smatphone with ANDROID or IOS to be able to use it.
In addition to reading the codes of normal items, this application also gives the possibility, after reading the code, to select the product batch (if it is a food or pharmaceutical product) or to select the size and colour if it is an item of clothing. (This option is available if connected to the LibertyCommerce server.
Let’s take an example: We have a box with 12 bottles of wine. Each bottle has a barcode that identifies the type of wine. All 12 bottles have the same code. On each bottle, however, by law, the batch of origin must also be printed (ex: LOT1234/13).
This lot was included in the LibertyCommerce management system during the loading of transport documents. The warehouseman can take a bottle from the warehouse and after reading the generic code a list of available lots will appear on the tablet,
After seeing that the lot is printed on the bottle we select it and move on to the next product. At the end we can send our list to the manager who will keep it, ready to be used in an invoice or a sale to the public.
The LibertyScan App downloads and tests for FREE from Google Play and AppStore.
